- Students benefit from access to Royal Holloway’s Library and archives, the Senate House Library of the University of London, training provided by the Doctoral School, departmental seminars, research centres, and opportunities to present work at national and international conferences.
- Funding is available through the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) via the TECHNE Doctoral Training Partnership, Royal Holloway studentships, and other University and external scholarships.
- The main entry point is in September, though January and April entry dates may also be possible. Deadlines depend on funding competitions, with most scholarship applications closing between January and March for the following academic year.
