Overview
The Department of Molecular Biosciences, The Wenner-Gren Institute (MBW) experimentally addresses fundamental problems in molecular cell biology, integrative biology, and infection and immunobiology./nPhD project: Metabolic control of cell nuclei. The position involves developing experimental methods to study protein interactions in cells and tissues using the expertise of the Piazza lab. Responsibilities include refining and optimizing a proof-of-concept method for broad applicability and high reproducibility, and applying the approach to biomedical questions to advance treatments for human tumors and immunotherapies./nThe Piazza laboratory uses mass spectrometry-based approaches to study protein interactions in cell and tissues with proteomics. The project integrates multiomics approaches to understand how metabolism and metabolic enzymes control chromatin in bulk and at single cell level. The candidate will have access to state-of-the-art instrumentation at the SciLifeLab laboratories in Solna and be involved in international cross-disciplinary collaborations./nLocation: Stockholm, Sweden.
