The Department of Chemistry at Stockholm University in Stockholm, Sweden is recruiting a PhD student for studies in organoboron chemistry./nThe project focuses on synthesis and transformation of organoboron compounds and the development of metal- and organocatalysis in organoboron chemistry for synthesis of chiral target molecules./nThe department has more than 200 employees and research spans analytical chemistry, physical chemistry, materials chemistry, inorganic and structural chemistry, and organic chemistry. The department hosts Bachelor's and Master's programmes and conducts PhD programmes in five areas including organic chemistry. The department has a well-developed research infrastructure with state-of-the-art equipment and qualified support from staff scientists./nEmployment is a fixed-term doctoral student position (according to Chapter 5 of the Higher Education Ordinance (1993:100)) for up to four years, with full-time (100 %) employment. The employment may include work with education, research and administration to a limited extent (maximum 20 %).
