PhD in Environmental Science

To combat climate change and achieve the UK's target of Net Zero, integration of renewable energy sources at the distribution/consumption level is expected to increase. This position focuses on using machine learning methods to forecast local generation and demand in microgrids comprised of prosumers, consumers, and energy storage systems. The project will utilize MATLAB and Simulink for modeling and coding.
