Are you ready to take the first steps into Applied Mathematics research?/nThen this PhD position may be just right for you./nWe will support you in developing the right research competencies for a career in industry or academia. We offer a PhD journey for three years that will be challenging and rewardable with lots of freedom, support and international collaboration./nThis PhD project will research and develop the theory and computational methods for 3D anisotropic Electrical Impedance Tomography. This is a very challenging inverse problem in the intersection of mathematical analysis, geometry and computing that recently has achieved attention. We ask what can be done with experimental lab data in cases with variations of anisotropy./nIn addition to research tasks, you will take courses for 30 ECTS and both general and specific topics, and you will teach students in courses and do project supervision at various levels./nApproval and Enrolment: The scholarship for the PhD degree is subject to academic approval, and the candidate will be enrolled in one of the general degree programmes at DTU./nLocation: Copenhagen, Denmark.
