PhD position at Materials and Surface Engineering, Department of Civil and Mechanical Engineering, Technical University of Denmark, Copenhagen, Denmark./nThe project focuses on investigating transient build-up condensed water layer on electronics surfaces such as Printed Circuit Board Assembly and DBC Substrates and how they lead to electrochemical failures under low and high voltage bias./nIncludes development of secondary electrochemical models as digital twins and developing condensation models. Part of CreCon – Industrial Consortium for Climatically Reliable Electronics at DTU and offers collaboration with major industries involved in electric vehicles/renewable energy systems./nThe period of employment is 3 years. Starting date 1 March 2026 or according to mutual agreement.
