Overview
A fully funded 3-year PhD position is available at DTU Aqua, within the newly established project NOW-LUMP, funded by seabreak (https://www.aqua.dtu.dk/nyheder/stenbiderprojektet?id=ab369eed-9005-4b04-9b12-66e400036e1c). The project aims to build fundamental knowledge on the biology and environmental tolerance of the lumpsucker (Cyclopterus lumpus) — a culturally and ecologically important species that has undergone a severe population decline in Scandinavian waters./nThe successful candidate will join a supportive and dynamic research environment at DTU Aqua. Your PhD will be based in the Section for Marine Living Resources where you will be part of the Fish Biology research group. The PhD will be supervised by Senior Researcher Jane W. Behrens (fish ecophysiologist) and co-supervised by Researcher Ole Henriksen (fisheries biologist) and Professor Karin Hüssy (fish biologist)./nYou will be based at DTU Aqua in Lyngby, 16 km north of Denmark’s capital, Copenhagen.
