Application Requirements

To be eligible for the Master of Laws (Professional) programme, applicants must have a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from a recognised university or an equivalent qualification. Applicants must also have a minimum of two years' professional experience in a legal setting. The programme is designed for lawyers who want to develop their skills and knowledge in a particular area of law. It is also suitable for lawyers who want to change their career path or who want to gain a higher level of qualification. The programme is taught by a team of experienced lecturers and practitioners. It combines theoretical study with practical experience. The programme is offered on a full-time basis and takes two years to complete. There is also a part-time option which takes four years to complete. The programme is accredited by the Law Society of Ireland. Upon successful completion of the programme, students will be awarded a Master of Laws (Professional) degree.
