Application Requirements
To be eligible to apply to the Biomedical Engineering program, you must have a minimum of 70% in the following courses: English, Advanced Functions, Calculus and Vectors, and Chemistry. You must also have a minimum of 65% in Physics 12. If you do not meet these requirements, you may be considered for admission to the Biomedical Engineering Bridging Program. The Bridging Program is a one-year program that provides you with the academic foundation you need to succeed in the Biomedical Engineering program. To be eligible for the Bridging Program, you must have a minimum of 60% in the following courses: English, Advanced Functions, Calculus and Vectors, and Chemistry. You must also have a minimum of 55% in Physics 12. If you are admitted to the Bridging Program, you will take courses in mathematics, physics, and chemistry. You will also take courses in engineering design and computer science. At the end of the Bridging Program, you will be eligible to apply to the Biomedical Engineering program.
