Master’s degree or equivalent in relevant fields with sea-going experience and software development experience.
Grade for the Master’s degree should be at least a B.
Fluency in English and ability to work in an international environment.

A PhD position is available at the Department of Technology and Safety with the research group Advanced Maritime Ship Operations. The position is for a period of three years. The objective is to complete research training to the level of a doctoral degree. The workplace is at UiT in Tromsø.
