PhD in novel brain-inspired AI algorithms

Professor KongFatt Wong-Lin has a fully funded 3-year PhD scholarship in NeuroAI at Ulster University in Derry~Londonderry./nThe project focuses on bridging fundamental cognitive computational neuroscience of decision-making to novel brain-inspired AI algorithms./nThe scholarship is available to both international and local applicants./nThe successful applicant will become a member of the Cognitive Neuroscience and Neurotechnology research team led by Prof. Wong-Lin in the Intelligent Systems Research Centre, School of Computing, Engineering and Intelligent Systems./nResearch communities and facilities include: NeuroAI and computational neuroscience; Neuromorphic computing; Brain-computer interfaces and neurotechnology (EEG, MEG); High-performance computing./nStart date: 14 September 2026./nApplication deadline: 27 February 2026.
