PhD in Plant Physiology

Umeå University, Department of Plant Physiology (Umeå Plant Science Centre, UPSC) invites applicants for a PhD position in plant science with a focus on plant complex trait genetics./nExpected starting date is around summer 2026 or according to agreement./nProject focuses on investigating the genetic basis of plants’ plastic response to drought and heat stresses using wild Arabidopsis thaliana ecotypes and aims to understand genetic, epigenomic, and transcriptomic or post-transcriptomic mechanisms of plant plastic response to stress.
