Investigate how hydrodynamic and social forces shape collective movement in aquatic organisms using advanced numerical modeling./nThe goal is to couple dynamical models of cognitive behavior with full hydrodynamics computation at large Reynolds numbers and develop numerical simulations to understand organization within schools of several individuals./nThe PhD will be carried out between LIPhy, ELAN at INRIA Grenoble, and LEGI, administratively hosted at LIPhy, and includes a two-month research stay at the University of Genoa.
