PhD in Materials Chemistry

Context: Recycling and depolluting are societal priorities. The project aims to explore a system based on decanoic acid and lidocaine (a deep eutectic solvent) for greener liquid-liquid extraction processes, focusing on anisotropic liquid phases, rheological properties, transport phenomena, and extraction efficiency. The PhD will be carried out between LIPhy and LRP in Grenoble with a 2-month secondment at APERAM. Supervision by Marie Plazanet and Frédéric Pignon, with collaborator Isabelle Billard. Part of the PhD@Tec21 Program co-funded by MSCA COFUND grant #101217261. Location: Grenoble, France.
