PhD in Multiphase Modelling

Develop multiscale models of root-soil hydromechanics in Grenoble, France. The PhD will be carried out jointly at 3SR laboratory (Geomechanics research group) and LIPhy laboratory (MC2 research group) on the Grenoble campus. The project aims to develop a multiscale and multiphysics modelling framework linking root biophysics, soil mechanics, and water transfer, validated using 4D X-ray and neutron tomography. The recruitment takes place within the PhD@Tec21 Programme, co-funded as part of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie COFUND actions under the grant agreement #101217261.
