Applications are invited for a PhD position at the Tangney Lab at Cancer Research @UCC, Western Gateway Building, University College Cork. The Bacteria & Cancer theme, led by Prof Mark Tangney, involves the study and/or application of bacteria in cancer settings. The Tangney lab is currently seeking PhD students with an interest in wetlab and/or drylab (bioinformatics, sequence data analytics, protein design). This project is part of Precision Oncology Ireland and will involve studying bacteria in the context of cancer to include microbiome and/or bacteria as cancer therapeutics.
