If you choose a specialism, you must take at least 60 credits from modules in that specialism and the Research Essay must relate to it.
  • Yes, you generally need a recognised law qualification (LLB, JD, or Graduate Diploma in Law). In very rare cases, applicants without a law degree but with at least five years of relevant professional experience may be considered.
  • You normally need a good 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in law, showing evidence of first-class performance in parts of your degree. Applicants with somewhat lower scores may be considered if they have strong analytical ability, motivation, and relevant work or academic experience.
