Fees and Funding

Employed PhD candidates hired for vacancies pay no tuition and receive a gross monthly salary of €3,059–€3,881 (with 8% holiday allowance and 8.3% year-end bonus). External/self-funded PhD candidates pay tuition of €3,000 per year (total €12,000 for 4 years) covering supervision, office space, and facilities; external candidates must also prove a monthly living allowance of at least €1,664. There is no application fee for PhD vacancies or PhD proposal submissions.
