PhD in Quantum Gases

PhD project to investigate, develop and explore new functionalities of metasurfaces for control of ultracold-atom arrays, combining multiple optical functionalities into a single stable element. Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands. The research is part of the Quantum Matter cluster (LightMatters group) and the Quantum Gases and Quantum Information cluster at the Institute of Physics, University of Amsterdam. The role includes experiments, fabrication (cleanroom work), and theory, and aims to enable novel trapping and control regimes for ultracold atoms.
