Fees and Funding
PhD candidates not employed by UvA but holding a scholarship pay an annual fee between €4,545 and €15,000. Self-funded external PhDs can request fee waivers but must cover living costs (minimum €1,833/month) and provide a research budget of at least €9,000 for the PhD.
