PhD in Biochemistry

The Department of Biomedicine is a joint effort between the University of Basel and the University Hospitals Basel. The Zampieri group offers a PhD research opportunity in the context of systems pharmacology, computational biology and metabolic regulation. The project focuses on understanding mechanisms regulating metabolic adaptation to genetic and chemical perturbations, combining metabolomics with mathematical modeling, and investigating how to pharmacologically interfere with regulation of cancer metabolism using mouse models.
