Overview
The Faculty of Medicine, Department of Clinical Science, is offering a full-time PhD-position for a duration of four (4) years or a maximum of up to 4 months post-PhD completion, if the degree is achieved in less than four years. The position includes 25% Career enhancement activities such as teaching, exam work, or supervision, depending on departmental needs. The position is part of the project “Temporary inconvenience or early warning signs? A new take on maternal symptoms in early pregnancy and their consequences” and funded by the University of Bergen. The candidate will study symptoms in early pregnancy using proteomics, and the project will be performed at the Center for Diabetes Research located at the Children and Youth Hospital in Bergen, Norway. The candidate will be provided guidance and training, will receive help for the development of their career, and will be given the opportunity to conduct research exchanges abroad.
