Overview
Atmospheric rivers are narrow bands of strong vertically integrated water vapour transport (IVT), linked to extreme rainfall and flooding. This PhD project will analyze the dynamics of tropical atmospheric rivers and their contribution to forecasting skill. International students are eligible with certain conditions. Funding through the CENTA3 DLA covers stipend and tuition fees.
