Overview

Project Overview We are inviting applications for a PhD position focused on the development of porous materials for key challenges in decarbonization and thermal energy storage (TES). This project aims to design and study advanced porous solids, such as MOFs, COFs, zeolites, carbonaceous materials, etc., for: Selective CO₂ capture and separation from gas streams Adsorption-based cooling and heat storage systems, such as adsorption chillers and thermochemical heat storage units Structure–property–performance relationships governing gas uptake, heat storage capacity, and cycling stability. The research contributes to low-carbon energy systems, particularly in buildings, industrial heat recovery, and solar thermal applications.
