PhD in Political Ecology

The Department of Geography at the University of Bonn invites applications for two PhD student positions (70%) to start from April 2026, limited to 3.75 years according to gem. § 2 (1) WissZeitVG. /nThe positions are part of the Collaborative Research Centre CRC-TRR 228 “Future Rural Africa – Future-Making and Social-Ecological Transformation”. /nSpecifically, the PhD students will work with project C03 “Green futures – the transformation of waterscapes in East Africa”. /nLocation: Bonn, Germany. /nPay grade: TV-L EG 13 (TV-L pay grade 13).
