Applicants must hold an M.Sc. or M.A.Sc. (master's degree or equivalent) from an approved institution with clear evidence of research ability or potential. The Faculty requires a minimum overall average in the B+ range (76% at UBC). International applicants whose first language is not English must meet English proficiency requirements (TOEFL or IELTS).
