Application fee is USD 140 (non-refundable) and fee waivers are not available to international applicants. Estimated graduate tuition for 2026 is USD 15,305 for California residents and USD 30,396 for out-of-state (international students classified as non-residents). However, admitted Neuroscience PhD students receive an annual stipend and tuition/fee remission and do not pay tuition or fees; the program covers these costs. Admitted international students must still provide evidence of sufficient financial resources for ISSO and complete the Confidential Financial Statement.
