The Niels Bohr Institute invites applicants for a PhD fellowship in Biocomplexity under the supervision of Professor of Physics Kim Sneppen. The project, part of the PandemiX Center of Excellence funded by the Danish National Research Foundation, aims to explore pathogen proliferation as a stochastic, dynamical process influenced by the host's immune system. The successful candidate will be expected to develop mathematical and computational models to elucidate the origins of epidemiological and clinical characteristics of respiratory diseases. This position will take place at both the Niels Bohr Institute and the Staten’s Serum Institute Campus.
