Department of Mathematical Sciences (MATH) invites applications for PhD stipends in Statistics and the mathematics of Insurance and Economics./nStart date is ordinarily September 1, 2026 (01-09-2026) but can be subject to negotiation./nPhD stipends available within the sections of Insurance and Economics and Statistics and Probability Theory, including specific topics: Optimal transport and adapted Wasserstein metrics; Causality; and other areas within statistics, mathematics-economics, and actuarial science./nThe department is located in central Copenhagen next to the central park Fælledparken and offers a dynamic international research environment.
