PhD in Chemistry

Department of Chemistry invites applicants for a PhD fellowship in Atmospheric Chemistry. The project is a part of a research project on Oxidation of Biogenic Emissions from Boreal Forests. The research project evolves around the emissions of organic compounds from Boreal Forest and their gas-phase reactions in the atmosphere at different environmental conditions. The successful candidate will analyze samples collected during summer 2025 in North American Boreal forest and lead laboratory experiments applying highly sensitive mass spectrometry. This project is a part of collaboration with groups from Finland, Canada, US, and Switzerland.
