PhD Project in the molecular cell biology of disease-linked gene variants focused on understanding how genetic variation shapes protein function and contributes to disease mechanisms. The project will involve Deep Mutational Scanning (DMS) and CRISPR-based genome engineering to systematically assess the function and stability of thousands of gene variants to generate exhaustive quantitative functional landscapes of disease‑associated proteins./nThe position is part of the Section for Biomolecular Sciences at the Department of Biology, Faculty of Science, University of Copenhagen, located in Copenhagen. Start date is expected to be August 1st, 2026. The PhD is a three year full-time study within the regular PhD programme.
