Overview
PhD Project in the molecular cell biology of disease-linked gene variants focused on understanding how genetic variation shapes protein function and contributes to disease mechanisms. The project will involve Deep Mutational Scanning (DMS) and CRISPR-based genome engineering to systematically assess the function and stability of thousands of gene variants to generate exhaustive quantitative functional landscapes of disease‑associated proteins./nThe position is part of the Section for Biomolecular Sciences at the Department of Biology, Faculty of Science, University of Copenhagen, located in Copenhagen.
