PhD in Environmental Sciences

This project is one of a number that are in competition for funding from the NERC Great Western Four+ Doctoral Training Partnership (GW4+ DTP). The partnership aims to provide a broad training in earth and environmental sciences, designed to train tomorrow’s leaders in earth and environmental science. The project will improve understanding of selection of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) at low antibiotic concentrations and generate novel data to aid policy makers in decision making on mitigating antibiotic pollution. The student will receive interdisciplinary training across microbiology, statistics, and work with policy stakeholders.
