PhD in Evolutionary Computation

This project is about developing surrogate models optimised with evolutionary algorithms for climate models. The Doctoral Researcher will be trained in machine learning and evolutionary optimisation. The position is associated with the NERC Great Western Four+ Doctoral Training Partnership (GW4+ DTP) and will include support from the Met Office.
