Overview

This project investigates how genetic variants that increase disease susceptibility are maintained in populations and the evolutionary forces at play. Candidates will work on bank voles, combining genome sequencing with pathogen screening to test key hypotheses in evolutionary biology. Interdisciplinary training will be provided.
