PhD in Population Genetics

This project is part of the NERC Great Western Four+ Doctoral Training Partnership (GW4+ DTP), aiming to provide broad training in earth and environmental sciences. The project investigates the effects of selfish X chromosomes in Drosophila testacea, focusing on cryptic fitness consequences. Key findings will be tested in additional species and the student will gain expertise in various genetic disciplines.
