PhD in Stem

DiveIn CDT is an innovative EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training at the University of Glasgow, focused on bringing together diverse teams to tackle interdisciplinary, mission-driven challenges at the forefront of research. The programme supports the co-creation of research projects and the formation of research teams through a series of facilitated workshops. During the 4-year PhD, students will take part in a bespoke training programme, supported with networking events and tailored coaching, and take advantage of the research and placement opportunities provided by our wide range of external partners. The DiveIn stipend will be uplifted by £4,000 per annum above the recommended UKRI rate, expected to be confirmed at £25,383 per annum for session 2026/27.
