University degree in the field(s) of marine biology, aquatic ecology, biological oceanography, limnology and/or environmental sciences.
Knowledge and experience in micro-/mesozooplankton taxonomy and/or ecology.
Strong intrinsic interest in general ecological questions and in carrying out and analyzing experiments.
Experience on aspects such as feeding preferences, food quality and the impact of environmental conditions on plankton communities will be considered an advantage.
Team spirit, experience in scientific writing and proven computational skills (e.g. R, Python) are required.
Good oral and written English skills.
