The logic and learning (LOL) group at the University of Helsinki is recruiting a PhD student funded by ELLIS institute Finland. The position focuses on combining logical reasoning and machine learning, particularly inductive logic programming (ILP), and primarily uses automated reasoning techniques (SAT/ASP/SMT/MaxSAT solvers) to learn logical rules from data.
