Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) are increasingly used for equipment anomaly and fault detection in offshore wind turbines. This project proposes a methodology to generate confidence in decisions made based on drone images, potentially reducing maintenance costs and downtime for offshore wind energy production. The research will employ the SafeML tool to measure statistical differences between new drone images and trusted datasets, providing deep learning explainability and interpretability.
