Position: PhD Candidate (SNSF) in Digital Humanities and Computational Semiotic Studies at the Department of Language and Information Sciences, University of Lausanne. /nStarting Date: From March 1st, 2026. /nContract Duration: one year, renewable until the end of the Project (31 October 2028). /nActivity Rate: 100%. /nWork Location: Lausanne-Dorigny. /nMain focus: writing a thesis in the field of computational humanities and conducting innovative research focused on the computational study of Charles S. Peirce’s manuscripts using advanced digital methods including OCR, handwritten text recognition (HTR), NLP, knowledge graphs, TEI-XML, and data visualization.
