The Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT) at the University of Luxembourg is offering an industrial PhD position as part of the “Autonomous Systems for Land, Air and Space” (ATLAS) IPBG Programme co-funded by the FNR, SnT, and a consortium of industrial partners and administrations./nThe successful candidate will join the SIGCOM Research Group (led by Prof. Symeon Chatzinotas) in collaboration with the Automation and Robotics Research Group (led by Prof. Holger Voos), and the project will be conducted in partnership with Proximus as part of the IPBG ATLAS program./nProject aim: develop a solution for 5G-UAVs in the context of service continuity in roaming scenarios between Luxembourg and Belgium; design solutions to reduce the handover and roaming procedure time; validate approaches using simulations and implement them on practical testbeds./nLocation: Kirchberg Campus, Luxembourg City, Luxembourg.
