The candidate should possess an M.Sc/M.Eng. degree in one of the following fields: Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or Computer Science/Engineering.
The candidate should have strong digital signal processing and mathematical backgrounds, evidenced by grades and/or prior publications.
The candidate should have expertise or a strong interest in topics such as wireless, mobile, satellite communications and non-terrestrial networks (NTNs), including multi-orbit architectures.
5G/6G technologies with a focus on 3GPP-based multi-connectivity.
Communication system modelling, performance analysis, and simulation.
Optimization tools and machine learning techniques.
Hands-on experience with software-defined radios (SDRs) and/or OpenAirInterface5G software stack.
Programming Skills: MATLAB or Python, C/C++.
Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
