Overview
This opportunity is based within the Power Electronics, Machine and Control (PEMC) research group in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Nottingham. The project aims to leverage electric propulsion hardware developed in the EU-funded €40M NEWBORN project and develop a real-time Multiphysics Digital Twin to accelerate electric propulsion system development. The role involves work on real-time digital twin technology, real-time simulation platforms (including Typhoon and SpeedGoat), and hardware-in-the-loop training using propulsion motors, power converters, fuel cell and batteries.
