Overview
Position as PhD Research Fellow in Exoplanetary Sciences at the Centre for Planetary Habitability (PHAB), Department of Geosciences, University of Oslo (UiO)./nStarting date 01.04.2026 or as soon as possible thereafter./nThe fellowship period is three years. A fourth year maybe considered and it will involve 25 percent of other career-promoting work (teaching, supervision, and/or research assistance)./nPlace of work: PHAB, the Department of Geosciences at Blindern, Oslo./nThe position is linked to the "Galactic Recipe for Exo-Planets" (GREP) project. The primary responsibilities involve modelling planet formation, conducting numerical simulations (N-body), focussing on planetesimal and pebble accretion models, implementing different disk models and formation timescales, and using exoplanet observations as compositional and dynamical guides. Work is carried out in collaboration with a Postdoctoral fellow and the GREP Team./nSalary in position as PhD Research Fellow, position code 1017 in salary range NOK from 550 800 - 595 000 (2 percent deducted in statutory contributions to the State Pension Fund).
