Overview
Position as PhD Research Fellow in Cellular and Molecular Neurobiology available at the Department of Biosciences, University of Oslo./nThe fellowship period is three years./nA fourth year maybe considered and it will involve 25 percent of other career-promoting work. Other career-promoting work may consist of teaching, supervision, and/or research assistance./nStarting date no later than October 1, 2026./nPlace of work is the Department of Biosciences at Blindern, the Life Science Building, Oslo./nThe goal of this project is to investigate the underlying molecular mechanisms and neural benefits of hypothermia with important medical implications./nTo study this, the Ph.D. candidate will use mammalian cells, organoids, and animal models, and employ a range of approaches, including cell culture systems, diverse molecular techniques, and advanced imaging.
