Overview

Position as PhD Research Fellow in Deep learning for subsurface imaging at the Department of Informatics, University of Oslo./nStarting date as soon as possible./nThe fellowship period is three years. Depending on the candidate and the teaching needs of the department, the fellowship period can be extended for either compulsory work consisting of e.g., teaching and supervision duties and research assistance up to four years./nPlace of work is Department of Informatics at Blindern, Oslo./nThe position is in the Digital Signal Processing and Image Analysis Group, Section for Machine Learning. You will be part of Visual Intelligence and the DSB group. The research focus is on computer vision for geophysical image data, multimodal image data, self-supervision for large unlabelled data sets, and transferring methods to innovations in collaboration with Aker BP and/or Equinor.
