Future space systems face unprecedented threats from radiation-induced faults and malicious tampering. This project will develop and validate adaptive, radiation-tolerant hardware architectures that secure both functional integrity and cryptographic trust in spaceborne electronics./nCombining radiation modelling, Artificial Intelligence (AI)-driven fault tolerance, and next-generation semiconductors such as Gallium Nitride (GaN) or Silicon Carbide (SiC), the project targets secure TRNG and Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) designs under radiation stress, AI-based adaptive reconfiguration techniques, and a materials-to-logic pipeline for trustworthy space-grade System-on-Chip (SoC) architectures./nLocation: University of Southampton, School of Electronics and Computer Science, Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences, Southampton, United Kingdom.
