SDU Microelectronics, part of institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, University of Southern Denmark (SDU), invites applications for a 3-year PhD position within Wearable Design and Mutli-Modal Monitoring of Brain Disorders./nThe project (NeuroEar) aims to use multimodal monitoring to enhance seizure detection and prediction accuracy and involves designing and testing high-quality electronics and participating in clinical studies at the Danish Epilepsy Centre (Filadelfia)./nThe PhD student will spend 3 months at Georgia Tech/Emory University (USA) working on machine learning and data benchmarking./nLocation: Odense M, Denmark. Preferred start date: from May 1, 2026. The position is open from May (specific start date to be agreed).
