Fully funded PhD studentship in Family Psychology at the School of Psychology, University of Sussex./nThis studentship provides the opportunity to join the third phase of the UK’s landmark longitudinal study of single mothers by choice and their children, who are now entering adulthood./nThe PhD researcher will play a central role in collecting and analysing both qualitative and quantitative data from mothers and their now adult children./nIncludes a stipend for 3 years to cover living costs (£20,780 per year for 2026/27), UK or International fees covered for 3 years, and research/training costs of £900 per year for 3 years (enhanced costs for some neuroscience projects)./nAccess to advanced training opportunities, regular supervision, and support for conference attendance and professional development. Doctoral Tutor opportunities available (teaching paid at Grade 6, currently £18.23 per hour)./nInternational students must move to Sussex for the duration of the PhD and cannot register as Distance Learners. The studentship does not include additional funding for visas or travel.
